Due to our continued growth in the Asia Pacific region, we are now seeking a Senior Accountant to be based in Singapore. Job Summary As a member of the APAC Accounting Team (excluding India), you will report directly to the Associate Director of Accounting. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations and month-end close activities, ensuring the timely completion of tasks, accuracy of financial records, and integrity of ledger postings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and internal controls, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's financial reporting framework and general ledger structure. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close. Provide timely support to external tax agents in the preparation and submission of GST, VAT, WHT, corporate income tax returns, and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements Support the day-to-day operation of the INFOR ERP system, including journal entry preparation, cash postings, intercompany billings, and account reconciliations. Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet schedules, ensuring all accounts are reconciled, supported, and up to date. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources and other business units, as well as outsourced service providers, to resolve accounting issues and support business operations. Assist with audits, ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements and supporting documentation. Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes, procedures, and system enhancements to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and redundancies. Perform other ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned. And other job duties as assigned by the line manager. Minimum Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field Minimum of six years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance, preferably within a multinational environment. Preferred Education & Experience : CPA or equivalent Experience with INFOR and ERP transformation or migration projects.
